Gardening in Mid May

How is your garden this time of the year? Here in the Pacific Northwest all the rhodies are in full bloom...it's spectacular! For those itching for tomatoes, it's still to early to put them out...our nights are not yet above 50. I am however, awaiting eagerly for our local strawberries which should be arriving in the next few weeks.

My mother use to live in the Mohave dessert....her tomatoes would already be off to a huge start, as it becomes too hot in the summer for them to grow.

I spoke with a friend in the Boston area...the rains are wreaking havoc with plants there.
